It´s a great pleasure to announce that Peter Bie, a former president and honorary member of the Scandinavian Physiological Society, was recently awarded two noteworthy prizes not previously given to a Scandinavian physiologist.
American Physiological Society (APS) awarded The Ernest H. Starling Distinguished Lectureship Award to Peter Bie for exceptional contributions and lifelong dedication to Water and Electrolyte Homeostasis research.
Water and Electrolyte Homeostasis (WEH) section of APS awarded Leonard Share Award to Peter Bie for his strong contribution and service to WEH section of APS.

Please take some time to nominate someone for the August Krogh and the Schmidt-Nielsen lectures at IUPS in Rio de Janeiro 2017.
