Early career investigator Award

At the annual SPS meeting we arrange a Young Investigator Award competition for best poster presentation. The winner(s) will be rewarded financially. The purpose of the award is to

  • recognise outstanding contributions of promising young scientists
  • encourage young scientists to continue their research in physiology
  • promote high quality poster presentations

About

To be eligible for the award, the researcher must be below the age of 35 years on the date of the meeting, and she/he must be both the first author and the presenting author. The evaluation will be based on:

  • excellence of the research
  • clarity in presentation
  • personal knowledge revealed by discussions linked to the presentations.

The award winner(s) will receive public recognition for their achievements at the conference dinner. The winners will also be posted on our web site and in the SPS newsletter.
